News and Gigs : Tinderbox Acoustic / Folk Band

Review: Friday 17th November - The King Charles, Poole Quay
  • Review: Friday 17th November - The King Charles, Poole Quay
  • 20 November 2006
  • Tinderbox delivered yet another memorable performance at the King Charles Inn on Poole Quay last Friday, keeping an enthusiatic audience entertained for just under 3 hours.

Notable tunes included Tinderbox's own 'Fallen' and 'Ordinary Day' as well as slick re-workings of classics such as 'Linger' by the Cranberries, 'Nothing Ever Happens' by Del Amitri, 'The Boxer' by Simon & Garfunkel and even the country favourite 'Jolene' by Dolly Parton.

This was the 5th King Charles outing for the duo and their music is becoming increasingly popular with locals and visitors alike.  A great venue with a warm, friendly atmosphere and a wonderful acoustic sound.

Please keep checking the News & Gigs page for future bookings here.
