- Review: Tinderbox storm ahead at the Dorset Unsigned Music Awards
- 14 June 2006
Having performed several gigs as a part of the DUMA competition, Tinderbox have received a consistently excellent response. The duo played an extended set at The Reef Nightclub in Christchurch last Thursday...
The set, which consisted mainly of original tunes, boasted some surprising covers including The Cranberries' 'Zombie', James Taylor's 'Fire and Rain', and the haunting Damien Rice composition 'The Blower's Daughter'.
Tinderbox originals such as 'Travelling', 'Fallen', and 'Out On My Own' were received with enthusiasm, whilst the intricate and jazzy 'Ordinary Day' proved a perfect finale to an energetic and diverse set.
