What a fantastic evening last night’s album launch was. Seeing so many talented musicians on stage in one evening was a real treat. The highlight, of course, was Tinderbox. My only criticism is there wasn’t enough of you!

I have now listened to the new album and it is one of the finest that I have heard for many years, I just love it.

Thanks for the pleasure you both give,
    Dyrck

Every song means something to me!
My daugher is called Emily so we love the first track.
Some of the others are very special because the words are so sad.
    Shared experiences mean so much..
Looking forward to your new songs soon.
Please look after my little songbird if he comes your way!
He is very precious to me!!!

I heard this CD while taking refreshment(!) in the Black Swan public house in Swanage – the landlady was playing BOTH of your CDs and chatted to me about how you play for her during the local Folk Festival. Well, I was stricken so positively by your music and lyrics that I took down the details and when I returned home I bought “The State of Play”! Have NOT stopped playing it since!! Any appearances scheduled for Essex? Wow!

The most refreshing sound I’ve heard since I don’t know when.I can’t wait to holiday back in UK to buy a copy. It makes a change to listen and understand the lyrics, and this from a Jimmy Hendricks fan. I wish you were my kids ! Not really, I’ve got to many as it is, but you get the picture.

Sitting in the front row in Ferndown last night, mesmerised by a gorgeous combination of guitar and voice, was one of the highlights of my concert-going career. Everything people had told me about Tinderbox was spot on. What a fantastic atmosphere! Thank you.
